I was researching some area farmer’s markets and came across this very exciting announcement on Local Harvest!
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens Farmers’ Market
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens announces a NEW Farmers’ Market in 2012. The market will be held on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., June 6th through October 17th.
Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens Farmers’ Market is located along Conservatory Drive just 2 miles from downtown Columbus and is visible from Broad Street. The market is located in a tree lined, paved parking area with accessible patron/vendor parking and/or easy access on COTA route 10.
The market promotes regional farmers and producers and provides access to fresh, local foods to a highly populated urban neighborhood on a major commuter route. Shoppers can pick up dinner at one of the local food trucks and shop for groceries and provisions in one stop at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens Farmers’ Market.
